The article summarizes results of energy cooperation between China and Russian in the end of the XX - beginning of the XXI c. as a most telling example of regional economic integration between neighboring countries. China and Russian present a model of mutually complimentary economies that aim at sustainable development in the context of their transition to the intensive type of economic growth.
