Despite the breakthrough in the treatment of patients
with stable coronary heart disease due to a routine and safe
procedure, such as percutaneous coronary intervention, the
incidence of cardiovascular complications remains extremely high
in the Russian Federation. The purpose of this review is to draw
attention to the main complications that do not allow to achieve
significant success in reducing epidemiological indicators and
lead to disability and deaths.
