The authors argue that the analysis of a fragment of the terminological apparatus of the philosophy of linguistics dealing with terms such as the Image of the world, mentality and paradigm allows to suggest, that there is some connection between mythological, religious and scientifi c images of the world and derived from them naive image of the world. This connection element, which makes it possible to form and update the content of the naive image of the world, is a mental paradigm, i. e. the average attitude of members of society to the most frequent concepts of three ideological images of the world.
