For Russia, it is important to know the interests and causes of the Arctic interests of all states, an interest in the Arctic. Currently, the United Kingdom is addressing a set of tasks (energy, security, alliances) related to the strategy of Global Britain, using the Arctic direction in its foreign policy. Thus, the Arctic strategy is presented as an instrument of state policy in many directions, confirming the high significance and global representation of Great Britain. This article discusses the main aspects of British Arctic policy, identifies aspirations and objectives, as well as mechanisms for achieving goals in the Arctic, which the British view as part of the macro-region - Northern Europe.
