Social innovations are an urgent task for the modern state, especially if we are talking about complex regions that need comprehensive support from the government. Social innovations, which are feasible only within the framework of comprehensive socio-economic programs, receive opportunities for implementation thanks to extensive investments. These investments are possible in the implementation of international cooperation. Since the Arctic is a region of established sustainable international cooperation, while it is a territory characterized by a set of social problems, and taking into account Russia's leading position, which is important to involve friendly states in cooperation, it is necessary to consider the possibilities of Russia's interaction with the BRICS countries in the field of social innovations in the arctic.
