Prince of mosquitoes by Frank Wedekind represents synthesis of poetry and dance. In the form of theatrical performance the author shows the circulation of erotic attitudes between the sexes, presented through a prism of children’s consciousness. The text of a pantomime is translated on Russian for the rst time. As the dramaturgic material Prince of Mosquitoes is suitable to an actual theatre art. However, until now the pantomime has not received any stage impersonation.
