The article deals with the phenomenon of the «wonderful thing» in artistic practices (particularly literary texts). The understanding of irrational, «wonderful» and ways of its presentation are investigated. The connection between the «existence» of ideas about «wonderful» in creativity and reflexes about the same in aesthetic informationinvestigations is analyzed. Empirical material of «new» literature is presented, testifying to the appearance of «alternative» topos «wonderful». In addition, «wonderful things» exist in real life, they «go beyond» artistic texts. This wonderful is all that is created by human imagination, creative fantasy, artistic inspiration.
