The article is devoted to review of domestic and foreign literature that represents the study of health-related quality of life in oncoorthopaedy and oncovertebrology. The article observes different studies on psychological characteristics and quality of life in patients with tumors of musculoskeletal system, and studies on quality of life in patients with pelvic bones and spine tumors. Moreover, the current article presents the issue of quality of life in patients with amputation experience, compared to patients with limb salvage surgery. The article also considers the problem of quality of life research methodology in orthopedic clinic.
