The author argues that a poetic text is traditionally perceived by a foreign audience as the most difficult to read and understand, and therefore is rarely used in the process of teaching Russian as a foreign language. But, in the author’s opinion, poetic texts provide methodically grateful material that actively stimulates the development of the Russian language improving.
