The article deals with the ways of integrating rhetorical and visual codes in film fragments which includes voice over reading of verses. On the material of film fragments the author of the article reveals the motivation of such fragments and the system of relations between the poetic text and the video sequence. Poetic fragments in the cinema are presented as an effective way of transferring basic basic value categories of culture.
