Purpose To determine the influence of the cornea! thickness in the central zone on pneumotonometric IOP parameters and to study distribution of normal keratopachymetric parameters in young and mature patients. Material and methods The group of 1100 somatically healthy patients, age ranging from 17 to 56 (646 women and 454 men), was analyzed. Total of 2108 eyes with low, medium, and high myopia without concomitant ophthalmo-pathology were examined. Further, refractive excimer laser operations (LASIK or PRK) were performed in all eyes examined. Patients have undergone complete ophthalmolog-ic examination, including pneu-motonometry and ultrasound ker-atopachymetry. Results The study confirmed that the parameters of both normal corneal thickness and IOP varied within wide ranges. Minimal value of ker-atopachymetry amounted at 441 цт (one eye) and maximal one - at 644 цт (one eye). Parameters of nor- mal pneumotonometric pressure varied from 6.0 to 28 mm Hg. Normal corneas can be divided into 5 groups according t
