This article discusses the main areas of interaction between China and the countries of Central Asia in the field of international trade and foreign direct investment. It analyzes the dynamics, key areas, as well as the features of China's trade and investment cooperation separately with each of the states of the region. Finally, it outlines the opportunities and prospects that open up against the backdrop of the PRC's implementation of the policy on the internationalization of the yuan.
