In the cotemporary geopolitical situation Russia needs to search new partners and new opportunities for the development of commercial cooperation. Latin America is likely to be a prospective dimension for the expansion of Russian companies. The Pacifi c Alliance has recently increased its role in the Russian trade. On the one hand, emerging markets of Mexico, Chile, Colombia, and Peru could be interesting for the Russian business; however, on the other hand, there are certain barriers to the development of trade between Russia and above mentioned states.
