The heyday of M.V. Lomonosov's creative work fell on the epoch of Elizabeth Pe-trovna, who tried to show the connection between her reign and the reform activities of Peter. Therefore, the theme "Alexander Nevsky" in the literary, journalistic and artistic aspects of the creativity of the scientist also correlated with this factor. M.V. Lomonosov every time sought to demonstrate the continuity of the policy of the first Russian emperor from the Old Russian prince. In his historical and scientific works this topic was almost not affected, this was prevent-ed by the too early departure of the encyclopedist from life. Nevertheless, on the basis of the analysis of the "Brief Russian Chronicler", one can come to the conclusion that M.V. Lomono-sov, describing the activities of Alexander Nevsky, did not introduced the ideological compo-nent, drawing a line between literary and scientific work.
