The article presents the analysis of the Richard Beacon's tract "Solon his follie" (1594) in the context of the imperial discourse of the later Tudors. This text is the only one print tract on the Irish issue of 1590s, and it is relatively unexplored as a program of the reforms in Ireland. Genre specifics and the context provides a specific type of the discourse - commendatory, translated by Beacon. Considering the complex of Beacon's ideas as a commendatory discourse, in the article are presented his perception of Ireland and its ways to political and social incorporate in the Tudors composite monarchy.
