The article uses analytic hierarchy process (AHP) Thomas L. Saaty, which has a software implementation. The ability to account for expert judgment in complex systems using AHP can be used to analyze complex problems. The preliminary stage of the AHP consists in structuring the problem in the form of a hierarchy of interaction of elements: goals, subjects of conflict, interests, alternatives and criteria that make up a meaningful model. AHP is a synthesis of two approaches: descriptive in view of the subjective judgments of experts and normative, underlying algorithm. The article demonstrates the application of this approach to the settlement of labor conflict and finding the best way out of it. The possibility of application of this approach taking into account expert judgments is shown. An example of a conflict situation at the plant is given, a hierarchical model is constructed, which includes two hierarchies with the same alternatives for administration and employees, reflecting their interests in the form of criteria. The priorities of alternatives obtained in two hierarchies are combined into an integrated indicator, which determines the best alternative to conflict resolution. The results obtained are expert recommendations and may be subject to negotiation by the parties. The expert method proposed in the article can become a useful tool in the professional activity of conflict resolution specialists.
