Toponyms in the Izhorian epic songs are discussed in the article. The study is based on the corpus «Old songs of the Finnish People». Variants of the epic song «The Big Oak-tree» are investigated to list the toponyms and geographical objects of Ingermanland and adjacent territories. We built a hierarchy of toponyms’ importance to the singers of the songs and to the speakers of the Izhorian language.
