The paper puts forward an idea of compiling a Russian encyclopaedic dictionary of discourse analysis. A similar French project has already been implemented, so the French dictionary can serve as a model for the future product. However, national traditions of doing discourse analysis in France and Russia differ, and hence the dictionaries should be different, too. The paper discusses an array of issues concerning the nature, structure, and scope of the prospective Russian disctionary of discourse analysis.
