At the present time for the Russian economy it is particularly important to develop domestic and inbound tourism. To implement the recreation policy and recreational nature use the regional specificity of natural conditions and tourist resources and their rational use should be taken into account. The increased interest in natural, historical and cultural sites of the Russian Federation and the formation of the positive image of the inland regions through the media is the basis for developing domestic tourism and strengthening the transport and hotel infrastructure in the regions. In order to attract potential tourists' attention to regional places of interest, national parks and nature monuments, history and culture, tourism facilities in the regions of the Russian Federation should be actively promoted.
