Economic, political, financial, cultural, information and human resources are concentrated in modern megalopolises. The potential for the development of large cities directly depends on the ability to attract and retain representatives of the younger generation. Values and attitudes of young people have not yet been fully formed and are constantly being influenced by various agents of socialization. Forming social capital of the younger generation is flexible and varied in the context of the information society. The forms and models of social capital, most typical for the young citizens of St. Petersburg, were allocated based on data analysis.
