the article presents the results of the study of psychological characteristics of coping behavior in boys and girls, depending on their ethnicity. A comparative analysis of gender differences in coping behavior was conducted. The study sample consisted of 160 people, aged 18 to
25 years, the average age of 21.5, living in the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania. The obtained
results may be used as starting points in the organization of social and psychological services in
multicultural regions, as well as in the development of training programs on stress psychology, ethnic psychology, age psychology and developmental psychology.
