The aim of the present work was to map the ice thick ness, to determine the grounding line, to study the bed relief and its morpology. The geomorphological map and that of the bed relief were compiled on the basis of data obtained by the above methods. The bed relief and the ice surface were compared to interpret the nature of the Vostok Lake.
