The purpose of the study was to study the role of intra-generational relationships in the professional development of young people. We suggested that intra-generational relationships may have a multidirectional character in the professional development of young people. The article examines the features of professional development (factors of professional development, emotional attitude to the professional future) students and intra-generational relationships: interaction with friends and fellow students. We also examined gender differences in the sample.
