The study was conducted on 35 students of NSTU and aimed at studying the relationship between the severity of alexithymia with the peculiarities of establish contact.
The results showed that with an increase in the severity of alexithymia, the person’s
emotional awareness reduced, negative emotions begin to dominate, the unwillingnessto get close to people on an emotional basis reduced and there are more barriers
in establish contacts.
