The list of marble-inhabiting fungi from four regions such as St. Petersburg, Kerch, Chersonessus and Athens is presented in the present study. Mycobiotes were compared by means of statistical methods including Sorensen's coefficient and Spirmen's range correlation coefficient. Occurrence index was also suggested to be used as the most correct tool for comparison of rock-dwelling fungal communities. Using this method we found the all mycobiotes studied to contain a small group of fungi, typical for marble.
