As a result of the study, the author came to the conclusion that the carriers of theological meanings changed in the teachings of Plato as he rethought the paradigms on the basis of which he built a theoretical image of ideas. There are two stages of such changes. At the first stage, the beginning of everything and the focus of theological meaning was the concept of “one,” at the second stage the concept of “good” took the place of the peak of reality. The article analyzes the evidence and some dialogues of Plato (“Parmenides”, “State”), which, according to the author, confirm the hypothesis.
