The article deals with US foreign policy, namely Donald Trump, in relation to Ukraine - one of the main players in Eastern Europe, on whose internal position not only the balance of power and the general situation of the countries of Eastern Europe depend, but also the foreign policy of the United States. After Trump came to power, the foreign policy vector in relation to the Ukrainian state was changed and more and more researchers began to study it. The article presents a content analysis of the main strategies of the United States for the term of the presidency of Trump, thanks to which the importance of the Ukrainian state in foreign policy is investigated. It also analyzes the media in which Donald Trump, the current President of the United States, speaks sharply about Ukraine. The author examines the history of Ukrainian-American relations and the current situation of bilateral cooperation. On a series of events such as the impeachment of Trump, the Ukrainian scandal in the Baiden case, Zelenskiy’s victory in the elections in Ukraine and the upcoming presidential election in the United States, are relevant in considering Ukrainian-American relations in the foreign policy vector of Trump’s and studying Ukraine as a factor in the political struggle in USA. The modern dialogue between Trump and Zelenskiy is under the scrutiny of the media, politicians, the researcher and author could not help but pay concrete attention to this. In conclusion, the author sums up, focusing on the main theses studied in the article, namely, the importance of Ukraine in the foreign policy of D. Trump, the analysis of bilateral cooperation and dialogue between the Ukrainian and American Presidents, after a series of events.
