In the article the problem of the safety of the automated control system different categories, based on the operating system similar OS Linux are analyzed. They are more safe compare with automated control system based on the Windows platform. Initially OS Linux was developed as a multi-user system, which has quite simple but very strong mechanism of the access rights. The safety in the control system is providing by the three main models of the access control: discretional, role-based, mandatory.
