The article analyzes cultural forums as an original form of intercultural communication. Cultural forums have exceptional opportunities to discuss and solve problems of modern culture and cultural relations. Culture issues are presented here as an independent dimension and an integral part of the business program of events. The article clarifies the concept of “forum” in the context of its modern understanding and comments on the advantages of this form of intercultural communication. The authors consider this form of intercultural communication, analyzing the program and the evolution of the largest and most authoritative St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum in Russia
