The article considers the problem of the influence of waves of finite amplitude on structures with a vertical face. This task is an urgent problem of marine hydraulic engineering at the design stage in order to protect water areas from the possible force impact of the sea element. Along with the theoretical study, an important aspect is a computational experiment through modern integrated software development environments.
