The study suggest s the imposition of a typology of innovative strategies proposed by the Boston Consulting Group in 2017, on the typology of supply chain strategies in terms of flexibility. Six types of innovation strategies: Creator, Solution Builder, Leverager, Expander, Defender, And Fast Follower: are divided into groups according to the degree of radical innovativeness, the role of the "owner" of the supply chain and the type of supply chain strategy. The results obtained help to formulate the most preferable supply chain strategies depending on the innovation policy of the companies, and also to determine the decoupling point where the functional strategy should be changed to the flexible supply chain strategy.
