The article considers the phenomena of polysemy of a term. The viewpoint that the term should clearly and definitely identify the corresponding concept or notion diminishes the conceptual significance of the phenomena: the term is just an attempt of differentiation (cf. etymology - "border, boundary") of concepts, objects and etc. It is doomed to be polysemantic - as a consequence of the versatility that have been detected in the process of careful study. The characteristic feature of the polysemy of a scientific term is it's conciseness, implicitness as a resulting manifestation of the phenomena of the terminological nomination, confirmed by the viewpoint of Pavel Florensky on the term, as "the subsequent stage of thought taken in a compressed form".
