The mental violations developing during a traumatic illness so far are studied insufficiently. Thus their frequency steadily increases that is caused by a survival the tyazhelopostradavshikh. As the most frequent reasons of the combined trauma complicated by mental violations it is necessary to recognize attempts of suicide and traumatizing at intoxication as alcohol and other psychoactive agents. In a grant on the basis of the analysis of data of modern literature and own supervision of the St. Petersburg Scientific Research Institute of Emergency Medicine of I.I. Dzhanelidze questions of clinic, diagnostics and treatment of mental violations at a polytrauma are considered.
