The article examines parliamentary diplomacy as one of the forms of international cooperation between states. Analyzing the concept of parliamentary diplomacy as an instrument of international relations, the authors reveal answers to such questions as: the tactics of parliamentary diplomacy in the context of globalization and the manifestation of established traditions, the role of parliamentary diplomacy in modern world politics and the expansion of the resource base. It is concluded that various organizations of the "planetary" scale and parliamentary associations can act as full-fledged actors in world politics, since an influential factor in the adoption of urgent problems belongs to the parliamentary component of interstate relations.
