In our paper, we trace the history of adoption of G.W.F. Hegel’s philosophy by some disciples of phenomenological philosophy. The research is based on the analysis of the works of German-speaking thinkers par excellence. At the same time, we take French phenomenology into account. We outline that this adoption contains a switch from the earlier stage to the later one. Namely, the representants of the first stage (Brentano, Husserl) attacks philosophy of Hegel as an example of the decay of the European philosophy and so-called romantic idealism. The later phenomenologists (Heidegger, Fink, Sartre) recognize Hegel both as an important and serious figure of the history of Western philosophy, and impulse for development of their own philosophical projects.
