The article is devoted to the question of the conjugation of thought and feeling. By the example of explicitly expressed monologic descriptions of the process of thinking, the mechanism that generates it is revealed. It is concluded that feeling is the basis of the mechanism of thinking. The arsenal of feelings of a person determines largely the course of his/her thoughts. The temporal and spatial relationship between feeling and thought is studied, as well as the sensational conditioning of deep and superficial nature of thought. A remark is made that the source of understanding of the person’s thinking activities is the recognition of his/her feelings.
