The work is devoted to studying the predictors of the formation of suicidal behavior; a study was performed of 103 inpatients with endogenous psychoses (27 people with suicidal attempts in history and 76 people who never showed suicidal behavior). The results of a study of three groups of characteristics-clinical-psychopathological, socio-psychological and psychodynamic, in two compared groups, are compared. For the objectification of the results, a set of experimental psychological methods was used (7 tests). The results confirm the multifactorial genesis of suicidal behavior in patients with endogenous psychoses; significant influence of family-environment, morbid and deep-psychological factors in the formation of suicidal behavior, which requires an integrated therapeutic approach. The fact of suicide attempt in the anamnesis should be considered as the major risk factor of a suicide in a future. Psychotherapeutic recommendations are presented.
