The article regards the problem of negative impact of broadcasting content on Russian television upon its viewers. Specifics of negative events coverage in various programs is assumed to reflect the phobias immanent to the viewers' conscience. Main informational trends connected with events of criminal-sexual character that occurred in Russian reality are researched. Conclusion is made about dialectic interrelation of viewers' phobias with screen reality, which, in its turn, testifies to the transformation of modern Russian society from security society to risk society.
