The constant use of the author of the Book of Qoheleth (Ecclesiastes) - during his mental discourse - the method of “comparing one with the other in order to find a solution”, i. e. to come to the right conclusion, can evoke in the reader the impression of his “inconsistency” - in fact a seeming one. Similarly, the “skeptical” and “pessimistic” Qoheleth’s statements - this is only a judgments with which opposite or parallel premises are compared in the process of his discourses. This methodological approach of Qoheleth seems to lead him to rather optimistic conclusions. Considering Qoheleth from this point of view, the reader can comprehend how the author of this book comes to its main conclusions.
