In contemporary language practice there is a heterogeneous use of the plural forms of masculine nouns when they combine with a cardinal numеral. The article presents linguistic evidence for the distribution of the specific plural form between the personal and the non-personal masculine nouns extracted from the Bulgarian national corpus. They allow for the statistical confirmation or correction of some of the suggestions about the regularities in the choice of those forms on the basis of the quantity of their co-occurrence.
