Cambodian is an isolating language with fixed word order (SVo) where all positions are meaningful, omissions are undesirable, and adverbials are used sentence-finally or sentence- initially, with determinants following their heads. Cambodian has no grammatical categories, including category of voice and a number of grammatical meanings can be expressed by special function words.
