This study analyzes a qualitatively new state of production and society. It is characterized by a change in technology, a transition to smart manufacturing and everyday life. Changing a person’s lifestyle leads to the need to change the social structure of society. The labor market in the digital economy is undergoing major transformations. There are changes in the vocational qualifications structure. Industry 4.0 inevitably gives rise to new contradictions, one of which will be the position of the precariat in the social system.
