The article is focused on words and expressions of the Arabic language, semantically related to the sexual sphere, in the context of their use as a means of verbal aggression. The paper examines prerequisites for acquiring invectiveness by copulatory vocabulary in both Christian and Islamic worldviews and identifies the main semantic concepts that represent ideal images with the greatest invective capability. An analysis of copulatory vocabulary functioning in invective constructions made it possible to determine their role in the modern Arabic language.
