This article analyzes content of anthropological in contemporary urbanistics, which replaces rationalistic, universalistic and modernistic ideas, dominating in XIXth and first half of 20th century. Concepts of anthropological approach to architecture are presented: G. Bachelard, J. Pallasmaa, P. Sloterdijk, V. Buchli, S. Lishaev. Underlying problems of architectural and city anthropology are presented: harmonization between idea of the city and feel of the city; harmonization of body, mind and feeling. Major spheres of human existence in urban environment are defined as: home and urban space. It is also remarked, that in contemporary studies the accent is made on importance of contexts, which include architecture, and also on their interactions. According to this, human body and it's internal state are reformulated. So the main attention is concentrated not on presentation, but on active action of architectural forms. Main characteristics and principles of postmodern city formation are reviewed, along with their anthropological, social and cultural consequences, which include: border breach between human and machine, nature and culture, dematerialization of human subjectivity. Such city becomes a precursor to socium decentralization and desubjectification of human. The question of preconditions to forming type of sensuality is posed. This question presupposes depth of individual perception, creative involvedness and correlation of feeling with meanings. Conclusion is made about importance of anthropological reorientation of urbanistics in order to determine future development of cities.
