The article is devoted to the life story of Colonel P.F. Levin, who defended the blocked Leningrad in the year of the Great Patriotic War. He joined the army at the age of 18. Until the last days of his life in his soul, he remained a real soldier and a Leningrad citizen. Photographic materials from the archive of the Levin family are published in the article for the first time.
