The article presents a new view of the history of philosophy in a networked society, when integration gave rise to the need to include non-European philosophy in the global history of philosophy. These processes caused historians ofphilosophy to search for new foundations of philosophy itself and tension in the interpretation of historical and philosophical work. Rethinking traditional approaches requires rethinking the direction of the link between practice and scientific research. Historians of philosophy need to determine the social status and role of philosophy in comparison with other cultural practices. The shift that took place in the history ofperception of non-European philosophy made it possible for historians of philosophy to transition from a post-colonial to a multicultural position and a system of values. Success in analyzing social networks allows scientists to rethink the relationship within and between philosophical historians and networks, using historical and rational reconstruction. So a narrative appears - a lengthy description of past conceptual models and “paintings of realitywhich offer a direction for improving philosophical thought.
