The article characterizes how an event which takes place in the natural world is thought in the categories of cause and effect. The process is analyzed in the aspect of cognition, at the levels of sensations, perception, mind and language. The conclusion is drawn that the cause and effect relations have a cognitive nature, the cause and effect situation is modeled as a complex macroframe.
