This article examines the role of the English language in the globalization processes. Globalization is the process of global economic, political, and cultural integration and unification. Taking into account the history of the formation of English as the most widely spoken language in the world, attention is drawn to the possible consequences of this fact, and current concerns about the role of English and the state of other world languages in the context of globalization are considered. The purpose of this article is to discuss the concepts of English globalization, as well as its impact on cultural identity and its significance for world communication, for trade, industrial, and diplomatic relations on land and at sea.
