The article considers the description of the study of social representation of mistrust. Social representation as a difficult mental structure includes: beliefs, convictions, ideologies. The coping styles as a way of behavior in social situations reveal the variability of social knowledge about mistrust. The source of coping behavior is a cognitive estimation of social situation in general and the ideas about yourself. The concept of betray as a phenomena of interpersonal relations includes the variances of mistrust. So, the goal of the study is to investigate negative social situations and styles of behavior in such situation. The research hypothesis is: the coping styles in social situations are ordered by social representation about the situation. We study the coping styles by interviewing and questioning of men and women. The sample is 139 respondents from 18-50 years old. The data studies with math statistics methods such as comparative analysis, descriptive statistics and the definition of averages. The results of comparative analysis of social representations of men and women in different age-groups reveal the potential of behavior in situation of mistrust. In general the study represents that the uncertainty in the interaction is governed by social knowledge. The two coping styles are picked out. Coping styles shows two differs of mistrust as a dynamic of interpersonal relations.
