The article is the first publication of the Egyptian anthropomorphic sarcophagus (inv. No. ДВ-768) preserved in the collection of the State Hermitage museum. Cut out from rose granite, the piece belonged to the high-priest of Ptah in Memphis (wr-xrp-Hmw.t) called Nahy.
